I thought it was so cleverly written threw the eyes of the captured and what her band went threw , it brought me to a whole different level of understanding and feelingI cried threw-out thought right away how can I help? I applauded the author for opening my eyes and heart to one of God's beautiful creatures.

Wild is a painful and unsettling read about a horrific situation but is well-written with poignancy and great compassion by an amazing young woman, who writes from the point of view of the horses. This book should be required reading in all our high schools and would stimulate a lot of discussion and hopefully action. The photographs, all taken by the author, are beautiful and compelling. There is also a great list of references for horse rescue efforts included.
Beautifully written, raw and full of emotion, this book will draw you in, tears will flow and you will finally, perhaps, have an understanding of what our wild mustangs go through. The pictures are beautiful and tell their own story. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wishes to learn more about the plight of our mustangs and the plight of all horses in our country. Ingeniously written through the eyes and soul of the horse.
I just got my copy of Wild from today. I was so moved and affected by the words and photos. How astounding that the author could capture and express the very soul of these horses in both words and images. Such a sad and yet glorious story that needs to be heard.
