I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was an easy read and hard to put down. It's the kind of book that draws you into the story and makes you want more. I have been waiting very impatiently for the second book Crimson to be released and was finally able to purchase it today.
Cerulean is well written. It's beautiful. It's dark and romantic. The writer makes you feel apart of the story almost as if you were standing next to the drama. I highly recommend this read for anyone looking for a easy read that has the ability to keep you turning and eyes glued to the page. I did a reading assignment for it in college and wrote a paper about it and now everyone in my class is hooked.
I'm waiting for another book! cannot wait to see what happens in the series!
For the writer's first published book, I thought it was an easy read. Written quite well, it's obvious she has talent, in my opinion. Every writer has to work on what the have, that is why we have critics. You will always have positive and negative feedback, it's all in how you take it tho. The book is great, and I as well await for the next in series. Thanks much. Keep up the good work.
I'm sure this writer means well, but the entire story is about just a few days, and it took perhaps 70 pages to get through one night. Many parts of the story just don't make sense; I would elaborate but it might ruin the story line for some. So if you can stand spoilers, here you go --- someone running a red light does not throw a car driving at a normal speed into and wrap it around a tree; someone has to be driving crazy fast themselves to do that; someone who is 23 does not have parents whose entire second floor has walls filled with drawings she did when she was three; someone does not allow a perfect stranger that she has only known for five minutes to spend the night and live with her. Also, if I see the word "purred" one more time --- every time a character in this book talks, he purrs. I have never in my life met a man who purrs. The writing was that of someone who wants to write, but doesn't yet know how. The editor should return their fee. In the first 60 pages, there were 20 typos, three phrases duplicated in sentences, and the grammar is not good. I think with a little practice, and a editor that is any good, this writer might be able to create something worth buying.
